The primary source of mana is the Inverted Tower. Monsters within the dungeon carry mana stones in their bodies—natural batteries of concentrated mana that can be extracted, refined, and put to use. These stones are what the entire extraction economy is built around. They are why people descend into the Tower despite the danger. They are why the Guardians Guild exists to regulate access. Mana is energy, not matter
